Ivan Pavelka is an accomplished Operations Manager with over 20 years of industry experience in Western Australia. At ProTrade Contracting, he plays a key role in overseeing operations and supervising trade teams across large-scale commercial and remote-area projects.

Ivan was involved in the Karratha Project, where he served as Foreman for the Woodside Housing Refurbishment Program. He later assumed the role of Senior Supervisor on the Barrow Island Project, managing the successful delivery of operational works across 1,000 accommodation rooms, expansive communal areas, and a 2,000 sqm dining facility. Ivan’s leadership was instrumental in maintaining project momentum, coordinating effectively with other trades, and meeting stringent client and site specifications.

He is proficient in all major application techniques, including airless spray, HVLP, enamel, acrylic, and two-pack systems, as well as decorative finishes such as suede, rag rolling, and wood graining. Recognised as HIA WA Apprentice of the Year (2010), Ivan’s early achievements set the foundation for a career defined by craftsmanship, reliability, and strong site leadership.

Today, Ivan is instrumental to ProTrade Contracting’s ongoing success, ensuring every project upholds the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism. He is also committed to mentoring emerging talent, fostering trade skill development, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the business.
